Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Figgle mobile application ("Figgle", "the app", "we", "our", or "us"). By creating an account or using Figgle, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Figgle is an AI-powered educational app that helps you learn through quizzes, exams, flashcards, and courses. Content is generated using artificial intelligence and is intended for study and practice purposes only.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
• You must not share your account with others
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, or have parental consent
• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms

3. AI-Generated Content

• Educational content (quizzes, exams, courses, flashcards) is generated by AI
• AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies
• Figgle is a study aid and does not replace official educational materials, textbooks, or teacher instruction
• We do not guarantee that studying with Figgle will result in specific grades or exam outcomes
• You should verify important information with authoritative sources

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Figgle+ Subscription

• Figgle+ is a paid subscription that unlocks content generation and premium features
• Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings or through the app

Credits

• Figgle+ includes a monthly credit allowance for generating content
• Unused credits do not roll over to the next month
• Credits reset on the 1st of each month

Refunds

• Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy
• We do not process refunds directly

5. User Content

• You retain ownership of content you create (custom quizzes, flashcards, etc.)
• By sharing content publicly (community features), you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it to other users
• You must not create or share content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, infringing on others' intellectual property, designed to harass or demean others, or academic fraud
• We may remove content that violates these Terms without notice

6. Community Features

• You may add friends, participate in challenges, and appear on leaderboards
• You must treat other users with respect
• We may restrict or remove your access to social features if you engage in harassment or abuse

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Use the app to generate content for commercial resale
• Circumvent subscription restrictions or credit limits
• Use automated tools or bots to interact with the app
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities (please report them to us instead)

8. Intellectual Property

• Figgle, its design, features, and branding are owned by us
• The AI-generated educational content is provided for your personal use
• You may not reproduce, distribute, or sell Figgle's content or features

9. Availability & Changes

• We aim to keep Figgle available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time
• We will notify you of significant changes that affect your use of the app

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Figgle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Figgle+ in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for grades, exam results, or academic outcomes

11. Termination

• You can delete your account at any time from Profile > Delete Account
• We may terminate your account if you violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your data is permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sweden.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Figgle after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
